Teens like Olivia shouldn’t have to face the impact of cancer alone

When Olivia was just 12 years old, her mum said the words that changed everything: "I'm not well... it's cancer." Their lives shifted in an instant. Soon Olivia's mum was in hospital. She didn't want to eat, be touched, or get out of bed. Olivia struggled to cope.

The grief of losing her mum was overwhelming. But being connected to other young people with Canteen gave her the support she needed to get through.

By becoming a regular giver, you can help ensure young Aussies like Olivia don't have to face the loneliness and grief alone.
