Psychosocial Volunteer

Closing December 31
Opportunities in ACT, Darwin and Tasmania

CanTeen relies on the assistance and support of our volunteers to help us deliver our programs for young people. We can’t run our programs without our generous volunteers. As a Psychosocial Volunteer you have specialist skills that are essential in the running of our programs. Our volunteers provide psychosocial support, facilitate or co-facilitate group discussions, participate in and help run activities and most importantly have fun in the process!

What’s involved?

CanTeen programs run for 1-3 days and provide our Members with the opportunity to meet other young people going through a similar experience, receive psychosocial support and have some respite and ‘time out’. Psychosocial Volunteers play a crucial role providing effective support and supervision to Young People Living with Cancer attending recreational days and programs.
