Are you a Doctor or a Nurse looking to support Young People Living with Cancer?

Canteen relies on the assistance and support of our volunteers to help us deliver our programs for young people. We can’t run our programs without our generous volunteers. As a health professional you have specialist skills that are essential in the running of our programs. Our volunteers provide support, administer medication and first aid, participate in and help run activities and most importantly have fun in the process!

Whilst Canteen is not currently holding face to face events, we know this will soon pass and we want to be ready.  So if you are interested in volunteering with Canteen soon please fill in the form below and register your expression of interest.

What’s involved?

Canteen programs run for 1-4 days and provide young people with the opportunity to meet others going through a similar experience, receive psychosocial support and have some respite and ‘time out’. Health professionals play a crucial role provide young people and staff with medical support including the administration of medications and provision of first aid
