Are you a Doctor or a Nurse looking to support Young People Living with Cancer?

Canteen relies on the assistance and support of our volunteers to help us deliver our programs for young people. We can’t run our programs without our generous volunteers. As a health professional you have specialist skills that are essential in the running of our programs. Our volunteers provide support, administer medication and first aid, participate in and help run activities and most importantly have fun in the process!

Do you have amazing handwriting?

Canteen relies on the assistance and support of our volunteers to support the office staff with administrative tasks and one of these is to write thank you cards and short letters to our supporters and agencies that we work closely with.

This volunteer role will work from our office in Hobart.  We also ask that you have neat and tidy handwriting.

Canteen delivers recreational programs, workshops and  casual drop-ins that bring young people together to build peer relationships. As a Psychosocial Group Support volunteer, your role will be to support the Program Coordinator to ensure the program or event runs smoothly in one of two ways:
