One of our incredible youth ambassadors, Chloe, who receives support from Canteen, has generously decided to leave a gift in her Will.

'“I lost my teen years entirely to cancer. I was just 13 when my dad was diagnosed and then ultimately passed away. Turning to Canteen changed everything and I was finally able to connect with people who understood what I was going through. I believe so much in Canteen, that I’ve chosen to leave a gift in my Will so I can help young people like me into the future.”- Chloe, Canteen youth ambassador

Gift in Wills FAQs

What are the 4 ways to leave a Gift in your Will?

Residual Gift: A residual gift is what remains in your Estate after addressing commitments like loved ones' gifts and financial obligations, leaving a charitable contribution from the remaining amount.

Whole Estate Gift: If you are committed to a cause like Canteen, dedicating your entire Estate to charity can create a significant impact for young people with cancer.

Percentage/Fractional Gift: This involves leaving a portion of your Estate as a charitable donation, accommodating changes in Estate value due to factors like inflation and property fluctuations.

Pecuniary/Specific Gift: This type specifies a fixed amount or specific assets (money, real estate, stocks) for donation to Canteen, offering certainty but susceptible to inflation's eroding effects.
