Chloe's Story

Rich Text 1

Chloe lost her teen years entirely to cancer. When her dad was diagnosed with stage four cancer, she spent most of her free time in hospital or looking after him. That same year, he died.

It was an extremely lonely time for Chloe as she felt out of place and her friends didn’t understand what she was going through.

One thing that did help Chloe then, and still helps her now, is having someone to talk to at Canteen. At 23, Chloe is proudly a Canteen youth ambassador, where she strives to empower other young people impacted by cancer.

The support Chloe received is only possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters, and we can’t thank them enough.
