Pulmonary Function Test – Information & Support
A pulmonary function test measures how well your lungs work.
Specifically, they measure:
- How much air they can hold.
- How quickly you can move air in and out of your lungs.
- How well your lungs put oxygen into and remove carbon dioxide from your blood.
You may have a pulmonary function test because some chemotherapy drugs affect lung functioning.
