Danielle is an experienced executive, people and program leader, with a desire to make a difference. She has significant experience in public health, clinical and translational research, as well as services, program, and general management in the not-for-profit and university sectors. Over the last 20+ years, she has led and contributed to many different projects, programs, and transformations, learning a huge amount along the way about how to help people and organisations be their best
With postgraduate qualifications in both health and management, Danielle is highly strategic, future-focused, and analytical. Her strong communication and collaboration skills help others find clear paths to success, while her warmth and humour ensure the journey is as rewarding as the destination.
Danielle has spent much of her career working to improve outcomes for people affected by cancer; it's a space she cares about deeply, both personally and professionally. She has previously held roles at Cancer Council NSW, the University of Sydney, Camp Quality, and Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. As the Executive Director of Services & Impact, she works with Canteen's experts in research, evaluation, psychosocial support, and programs to deliver on our mission of being in the corner of every young person when cancer crashes into their world.
