Christopher Chandran is a seasoned audit and assurance professional with nearly three decades of experience, including leadership roles at Pitcher Partners where he has been a Partner since 2006. Over the years he has worked with ASX-listed companies, multinational subsidiaries, privately held groups, and Not-for-Profit organisations, with a strong focus on governance, risk, and compliance.

What sets Chris apart isn’t just his financial expertise or strategic thinking, it’s his collaborative spirit and genuine care for the people and organisations he works with. He’s a regular contributor to Audit and Risk Committee and Board meetings, where his insights help shape sound decisions and strengthen governance.

Chris’s decision to join the Canteen Board is personal. He’s proud to take a more hands-on role in supporting young people and families affected by the disease. While he’s supported charities for many years, this opportunity allows him to make a meaningful and regular contribution.

Outside of work, Chris is a proud father of three, a volunteer with St Vincent de Paul, a mentor in the CityLink Mentoring program, and an assistant football coach. Joining the Canteen Board represents a meaningful opportunity for him to give back and help improve the lives of young people and families affected by cancer. He’s also a proud owner of a number of Canteen bandannas, some going way back to the early 2000s.
