Brent was appointed as a Director of Canteen in May 2022 and Chair of the Finance & Risk Committee. He is a Chartered Accountant and company director/ advisor with over 30 years experience working in senior finance roles across a broad range of global companies and industries. His previous roles have included CFO of Cochlear Ltd and CFO for Nine Network Australia. He is currently a Non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee for ARN Media (ASX:A1N), A2B (ASX:A2B), EML Payments (ASX: EML) and Silverchain Group and previously Prime Media Group (ASX:PRT).
Brent believes strongly in the purpose of Canteen, having being directly involved in cancer supporting charities for over a decade as a Director/major fundraiser for Can Too Foundation and also as CFO for Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Sydney’s dedicated hospital caring for cancer patients which opened in 2013.
