National Bandanna Day (NBD) is CanTeen’s flagship fundraising event which takes place on the last Friday of October each year. This merchandise based-fundraising campaign raises both funds and national awareness for CanTeen. In 2018 NBD raised almost $1.5 Million making an enormous difference to the lives of young people!

As the NBD Campaign manager you will take the lead in the end to end running of the campaign allowing you to experience and guide your team in multiple disciplines including:

  • Marketing
  • Logistics
  • Merchandise design and production
  • Website development and maintenance
  • Volunteer recruitment and management
  • Budget management and financial accountability
  • Post event analysis and reporting

Is this you?

Qualifications & Experience

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (advantageous).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a campaign management or marketing role.
  • Large scale project management experience.
  • Experience in successfully developing and implementing new campaigns and/or events is desirable.
  • Production / Logistics experience desirable.
  • Experience in National Merchandise Campaigns desirable

Knowledge/Skills

  • Outstanding project management skills demonstrated through successfully leading large scale projects.
  • An engaging speaker / presenter in order to promote CanTeen services and build relationships quickly and easily.
  • Creative thinker with ability to turn ideas into reality.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Solid analytical skills and experience.
  • Strong communication skills, customer service and networking skills.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and ability to translate creative ideas into solutions
  • Ability to deliver/execute strategy intent.
  • Solid attention to detail essential.
  • Ability to manage a number of different tasks concurrently.
  • Good computer skills, especially MS Office and familiarity with databases.
  • Ability to overcome unforeseen challenges with minimum impact
