Job Summary:

Fixed Term – 1 Year Contract, Full Time

We are looking for a visionary leader and experienced manager to be the face of Canteen for the state of Victoria.  This role offers a complex array of opportunities for the right leader to set and lead the strategic vision for the state so that many more young people facing a cancer experience and their families will gain access to CanTeen’s range of support options both face to face and online. You will build Canteen’s profile, brand recognition and the understanding of the full breadth of services offered by the organisation.

You will need to harness existing and create new networks in the government, health, corporate and NGO sectors to meaningfully drive Canteen’s cause as well as improving access to funding streams, fundraising opportunities and partnerships for CanTeen in Victoria.

We are now looking for a passionate and highly capable leader to take and drive CanTeen Victoria into the future.  The nature of this contract will require the skills to manage and drive existing service and fundraising related strategic and operational plans as well as strategically leading the team and setting the vision for the Division through the contract period.

Is This You?

We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in setting and implementing a strategic vision. You will have proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams with demonstrated ability to develop an effective team culture and high performance.

You will have proven experience in managing teams in achieving KPIs related to client support including reach, intake, assessment and review. You will be a strong leader with confident networking skills and proven experience building effective relationships with external stakeholders to drive organisational awareness.

The preferred candidate will have a relevant qualification in a business management discipline and/or advanced studies in psychosocial disciplines, a full driving licence, and a creative and innovative approach. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is business savvy with both budgeting and financial experience to help change the face of CanTeen in Victoria.
