Types of cancer
Cancer develops when some of the body’s cells start to grow abnormally. Problems arise when cancer cells go berserk, grow uncontrollably and sometimes outlast and overtake good cells.
There are different types of cancer that affect young people, some of which we have listed for you. These cancers are sometimes different to adult cancers, so those that may affect your mum, dad, or primary caregiver are here too.
