PWC staff at our stocktake!PricewaterhouseCoopers sent their eager staff along to our warehouse to help us count, stack and pack all our bandannas. Thanks to their help we got through 9000 bandannas that day! Thanks PWC - you guys rock!

AGL StaffThe fantastic staff from AGL were all smiles after they finished helping us pack over 2000 bags at our Canned Laughter 2007 event. A big thank you, everyone at the event loved the showbags!

Westpac_volunteering_for_CanTeenArriving in style the team from Westpac lined up alongside vollies from NRMA for a real blitz in our national warehouse last Thursday. They worked through over 6 pallets in just a few hours and by all reports had a great time in the process!
The Westpac volunteer bus will be doing the rounds of the country so we hope to see more Westpac vollies packing and stacking bandannas in Brisbane and Perth and Melbourne and...

Thanks to everyone who has helped with this year's stock take - we're nearly there!

Well the MLC guys were at it again! They not only helped us pack Bandannas for distribution in our '06 pack-a-thon, but they were once again at our warehouse helping count the same stock back in! Counting in pens and badges, it was a mammoth task that only one set of specialist vollies could handle! By 4.30pm they had counted half of the returned stock! That’s 20,863 pens and 9,234 badges to put it in perspective!! Well done everyone, we look forward to seeing you again in September for our '07  pack-a-thon.

We are proud to report that hundreds of ANZ Mortgages staff from all around Australia helped pack bandannas for Bandanna Day once again this year. Now these guys weren’t doing anything glamorous but they did turn up week after week for months on end and we wouldn’t have been ready for NBD without them. Thank you.

NBD Volunteering imageThe team from MLC & NAB first got involved with our 2005 NBD stock take. By the time our massive pack-a-thon (where we get all our stock ready for sales in Woolworths stores nation wide) came around in 2006, we couldn’t keep them away! Thank guys, and seeing as you seemed to have such a good time we’ll expect you back next year!

“Our volunteer feedback has been unreal. They were all really impressed with the way the day's were organised, the speeches, the work and food. Every piece of feedback indicates they felt they helped and make a contribution (a key to aligning our volunteers to CanTeen over the longer period). Also nearly every feedback form said they had fun and want to do it again! Thanks for your help and please keep us on your list for future needs."

NBD VolunteeringAs soon as the last bandanna was sold on October 27th 2006 the stock take process (and the commencement of Bandanna Day 2007) began! The team from Hewlett-Packard got the ball rolling in November sweating it our in our warehouse. They managed to count 4 pallet loads of bandannas in just 2 hours – mammoth effort, thanks guys!
