Ricky Stuart, Coach of the Australian Kangaroos, accepted CanTeen’s invitation to become an official ambassador in late 2005.
Ricky has been a keen supporter of CanTeen since 1998 and has raised over $250,000 in that time through his annual golf day in Canberra.
The Ricky Stuart Golf Day in aid of CanTeen is an opportunity for past and present NRL stars to mingle with local businessmen and the public whilst raising funds for CanTeen.
Ricky’s first ambassadorial assignment was to accept a $730,000 cheque from Woolworths on behalf of CanTeen on Tuesday 6th December, 2005 at the Roosters first 2006 training session at Wentworth Park, Sydney.
