Mark Winterbottom
As a second-generation racer, Mark followed in the footsteps of his father, who won two Australian Sprintcar Championships.
During 2003, Mark competed in the 2003 Konica Championship with tremendous success. After being crowned the Konica Series Champion, Mark then joined Stone Brothers Racing for the Sandown and Bathurst endurance races where he ran inside the top ten for the majority of both events.
In 2004, Mark joined the V8 Supercar Championships, aboard a brand new Orrcon Racing Ford BA Falcon. The highlight of his debut year was partnering Bargwanna to fifth position in Australia’s premiere race, the Bathurst 1000.
Mark switched from Larkham Motor Sport in the 2005/2006 off season, to the factory Ford team. Last year saw Mark win at Sandown with Jason Bright, have his first solo win in the V8 Supercars and come 3rd in the 2006 V8 Supercar Championships.
